The Ocean Signal RescueME PLB1 Personal Locator Beacon is one of the world’s smallest and most reliable emergency beacons, designed to provide a vital lifeline in critical situations both on land and at sea. Compact, lightweight, and easy to carry, it fits neatly onto a life jacket and can be operated single-handed, even in demanding conditions.

When activated, the PLB1 transmits your precise GPS location via the global COSPAS-SARSAT satellite network using a 406 MHz distress signal, ensuring rapid notification to rescue coordination centres. A secondary 121.5 MHz homing signal and powerful strobe light help rescuers quickly locate your exact position once they are nearby.

Designed for ease of use and safety, the device features a spring-loaded protective flap to prevent accidental activation and a simple antenna deployment system.
