Description
The Palm Nevis PFD from Palm Equipment represents a new generation of whitewater rescue buoyancy aids, combining advanced fit technology with innovative safety systems.
Developed through research with University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), designed by Barney Caulfield and tested worldwide by professional kayaker Bren Orton, the Nevis introduces several groundbreaking features aimed at improving comfort, safety and mobility for paddlers in demanding conditions.
At the core of the design is the Delta Fit adjustment system, which uses two wrap‑around wings that contour around the ribs. This innovative design reduces pressure on the abdomen, improves breathing and allows greater freedom of movement while paddling or performing rescue operations.
Constructed with CORDURA® 500D fabric and Gaia PVC‑free foam, the vest offers exceptional durability and reliable flotation. Aircraft‑grade 7075 aluminium buckles and the APC easy‑catch O‑ring provide strong and dependable attachment points for rescue equipment
