P&H Leo MZ3

The P&H Leo was created as a mid-sized day sea kayak. Fully capable of tackling the Uk's classic coastal paddles, but due to its shorter length it won't feel quite as quick or efficient over longer distances. What it does offer is more manoeuvrability, a reduction in overall weight and also paddles well unloaded on day paddles. The boat can be loaded up for overnight trips, but doesn't have the same load-carrying abilities of full-sized expedition boats such as the Scorpio.

Versatile and easy to paddle/develop skills in. The Leo ticks a lot of boxes, and with all the features you would expect to be found on a top-of-range sea kayak, makes for a comfortable day cruising sea kayak with the ability to complete overnight trips when required.

The P&H Leo is available in a choice of two rotomoulded plastic constructions:

MZ3 is a good value with impressive impact resistance and durability (but slightly heavier). Whereas CoreLite X increases the hull's stiffness and reduces weight, to give greater responsiveness from the kayak.
