Performance Hatches feature our unique two-part construction for maximum protection, while our Recreational Hatches offer a UV-resistant all-rubber option at a more economical price. 

Both designs float when dropped in the water, and are easy to attach while still offering a superior watertight seal. Our VCP Oval hatch is compatible with the Valley Canoe Products (VCP) oval hatch when mounted on an injection molded rim bolted/glued to the deck; not recommended for rotomolded kayaks that do not feature this rim (*SEA-LECT Designs is not affiliated with Valley Sea Kayaks and/or Kayak Sport, reference to these brands only indicates similar sizing of hatch cover products).
