The hull of the Hydra is fast and stable on the water, and the carving chines and well-defined rails provide a very precise feel on edge. The rocker profile allows the boat to handle complex sea conditions, and it's great at surfing and rock hopping.

This is a kayak that will suit those transiting from sit-on-top paddling to take their first steps into more serious paddling. It is a great kayak to learn advanced paddling strategies, self-rescue, and rolling, too.
